EnGeneIC’s mission is to change the perception of cancer from
life threatening to curable. We aim to revolutionize the treatment
of cancer by targeted delivery of drugs or siRNAs using the same versatile nano-sized delivery vehicle to address the complexities
found in cancer cells.

Company Profile
EnGeneIC Ltd , founded in 2001, is a privately held Australian bioscience company formed to develop and commercialise novel concepts in the targeted delivery of chemotherapeutics for cancer drugs in-vivo. The company is funded by the Australian government backed venture capital funds, AMWIN and Momentum, private investors and has won support from AusIndustry Commercial Ready Program and the NSW Government.

EnGeneIC believes that its delivery technology platform addresses both risk and effectiveness. The proprietary EnGeneIC targeted drug/siRNA delivery vehicles (EDVs) are inherently safe with minimal to no potential for toxicity, virulence or patient infection. At the same time, EDVs offer a very wide range of choices for optimizing the delivery of clinically meaningful drug and siRNA doses to target
cancer cells in vivo.

EnGeneIC has patents granted in Australia, Singapore, Japan and India, with processes continuing in the USA, Europe, Japan and the rest of the world. Seven patent family applications have been filed
in the US and other jurisdictions world-wide.

EnGeneIC is currently poised to commence a multicenter safety trial in humans with various cancers and this trial is expected to take place at three of Australia’s leading cancer hospitals. Lead clinical oncologists have been following the animal data that EnGeneIC has been generating and these oncologists will head the clinical trail.
